ORT. Sperrwerk 10" & CD

"Sperrwerk" functions as some kind of an epilogue to ORT’s first creative cycle, that includes  a trilogy of 7’’ singles  their debut LP and culminated in their second full-length album “Maschinenhafen”.

The two songs of the “Sperrwerk” 10’’ record self-quotes familiar motifs, and then diverge from them again, probably like the end credits  score of a classical movie soundtrack. 
“La Reprise” and “Heuvel / Bodden” are both very much pieces of their own, going forward to explore new approaches and further moods.
The CD Bonus Track “Bodden Dub” is another example for the band’s interest in experimentation with reinterpretations and expansions of their own creativity.
