NIGHTFYRE – Shattered Lands EP (White Vinyl)

NightFyre are back in force with their new ep ‘Shattered Lands’ and five new tracks - all in the old-school 12’ ep format and pressed on 45 RPM, the three once again bang out their signature licks with their usual joy of playing, leaving no NWOBHM wishes unfulfilled. David Cruz, the Portuguese Hetfield, lets the choruses roar in the best 80s style. Catchy leads are of course also at the start again... All in all a nice pack of 80s metal. Corona ‘fun fact’: since studio visits were taboo at the time of Covid, the band had their fans sing the chorus of ‘Lady In Black’ via WhatsApp message and then mixed it into the song afterwards.
