Mouth from Cologne are switching from the prog label Tonzonen to This Charming Man with their fourth album ‘Getaway’. What an insane trip the three of them are throwing in here. The very first song is almost longer than a side of a long-playing record. Meandering trippily through the musical swamp rock landscape of the 60s and 70s, Mouth scrape along all the genres that a classic rock band can touch - prog, rock, space, garage, jazz or krautrock - all of which are moulded into a coherent, stomping mass on ‘Getaway’. With ‘Once’ they have a real hit on board that can make the dancefloor of any indie/rock party shake - simply great.
