The Ösi-Quartet mows everything down: crossover thrash of the old school, always with a wink and a lot of fun in the cheeks and skateboard-like humor ("Life’s Too Short for Longboards!"). The singer sometimes reminds me of Mike Muir from the Suicidal Tendencies, but Insanity Alert sound more metallic and are much faster! Breathless sounds, gang shouts, effective mosh parts, all performed in a pleasant old school sound almost force me to open a beer. D.R.I., Municipal Waste, early Suicidal Tendencies, S.O.D., Dr. Living Dead!, early Anthrax, Nuclear Assault, that's the soup Insanity Alert spits into, right. Thrash Harder! Everything is about a good time and a decent pit: pure metal punk that Innsbruckers celebrate hard and sweep everyone away with. They really want to know! And are also on the go a lot, you should take a look live: Shred Power to the max.
